Haroun Asghar is a highly experienced tax professional, bringing over 25 years of expertise in the field.
Having worked with renowned firms such as KPMG UK and PwC, Haroun has successfully built and led tax teams in both Abu Dhabi and the UK.
During his tenure at Etihad Airways, the national airline of the UAE, Haroun served as the Head of Tax for a decade. He was instrumental in establishing and developing the tax function, ensuring robust capacity and controls for Abu Dhabi’s flagship enterprise.
With a comprehensive understanding of international tax matters, Haroun spearheaded advocacy efforts, strategic planning, tax policy implementation, risk management, and the adoption of cutting-edge tax technology.

Mohammad Khan leads our indirect tax practice across the UK and Middle East.
A seasoned tax professional of over 30 years. Started his career with the UK’s tax authority HMRC, before moving on to the Big 4 the likes of PwC and Deloitte.
His experience spans across both practice and equally importantly in house with some of the biggest names such as Cisco and Npower. Mohammad can support across VAT group consolidation, ERP processes, health checks, and other wide ranging risk aspects.
